ART Department
SENIOR VFX ARTIST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the the Lead Artist to define the artistic goals for a game
Work with the other discipline leads on the team on a daily basis to effectively meet the aesthetic, stylistic, and technical quality bar-
Take part in the development of new graphic techniques and the integration of the graphical content in the game engine
Design, create and implement VFXs for realtime in-game and cinematic applications
REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of relevant experience within the film and game industry
At least two AAA published games credited in senior VFX role
Demonstrable excellence as a VFX artist (motion, compositing, animation)

Extensive experience of VFX editors and particle systems, know platforms and engine limits, maximize quality and manage risks
Knowledge of industry standard 2D and 3D (maya, houdini, photoshop, after effects, etc…) DCC applications
Ability to mentor and train the art staff
Strong written and oral communication
Experienced in writing tutorials and documentation
B.A. or equivalent experience
Experience as an animator, texture artist a major plus
