SENIOR VFX ARTIST

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • bullet pointWork closely with the the Lead Artist to define the artistic goals for a game
  • bullet pointWork with the other discipline leads on the team on a daily basis to effectively meet the aesthetic, stylistic, and technical quality bar
  • bullet pointTake part in the development of new graphic techniques and the integration of the graphical content in the game engine
  • bullet pointDesign, create and implement VFXs for realtime in-game and cinematic applications


REQUIREMENTS:

  • bullet point10+ years of relevant experience within the film and game industry
  • bullet pointAt least two AAA published games credited in senior VFX role
  • bullet pointDemonstrable excellence as a VFX artist (motion, compositing, animation)
  • bullet pointExtensive experience of VFX editors and particle systems, know platforms and engine limits, maximize quality and manage risks
  • bullet pointKnowledge of industry standard 2D and 3D (maya, houdini, photoshop, after effects, etc…) DCC applications
  • bullet pointAbility to mentor and train the art staff
  • bullet pointStrong written and oral communication
  • bullet pointExperienced in writing tutorials and documentation
  • bullet pointB.A. or equivalent experience
  • bullet pointExperience as an animator, texture artist a major plus
